Refund & Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans change. This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains what happens if you need to cancel or modify a car rental booking made through Travel Holic.

Cancellation Windows

Cancellation policies depend on the type of rate you booked:

Pay-at-Pickup Bookings (Flexible Rate)

  • Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time.
  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of pickup may incur a late cancellation fee of up to $50, depending on the rental brand.
  • No-shows (not showing up for pickup without cancelling) are charged a no-show fee equal to one day's rental rate.

Prepaid Bookings (Discounted Rate)

  • Prepaid bookings offer lower rates in exchange for committing to the reservation.
  • Cancellations made 7+ days before pickup receive a full refund minus a $25 processing fee.
  • Cancellations made 3–7 days before pickup receive a 50% refund.
  • Cancellations made less than 3 days before pickup or no-shows are non-refundable.

How to Cancel

To cancel or modify a booking, call us at +1 (833) 611-8283 with your confirmation number. Our agents will process the cancellation immediately and confirm whether a refund applies.

Email cancellation requests to support@travelholicworld.com are also accepted but may take up to 24 hours to process. For time-sensitive cancellations, we strongly recommend calling.

Refund Processing Time

Rental Company Charges at Pickup

Please note that additional charges incurred at the rental counter (insurance, fuel, tolls, additional driver fees, late returns) are between you and the rental company. Travel Holic does not control or process refunds for charges applied directly by the rental brand. If you believe you were overcharged at the counter, call us and we can help mediate with the rental company.

Partial Rentals and Early Returns

If you return the vehicle earlier than the reservation end date, the rental company may adjust the rate to a higher daily rate (since longer rental periods typically have lower daily rates). This adjustment is made by the rental company, not by Travel Holic.

Force Majeure

In the event of natural disasters, government travel restrictions, or other extraordinary circumstances that prevent you from using your rental, we will work with the rental company to arrange a full refund or rebook your reservation for alternative dates at no additional charge.
